The year 2020  Metaalwarenfabriek UMEFA is celebrating its 75th anniversary. Started in a  production plant in Utrecht from which the company is named after:  Utrechtse MetaalwarenFabriek. Today this 100% Dutch manufacturer of metal camping accessories is located Leusden in a more than 6,600 M2 building where the production, the assembly and warehouse are located.

The production consists of single eccentric presses, fully automatic strip- and wire processing machines, spot welding machines for manual and mechanized work and automated tube processing machines. We also have a complete powder coating installation in-house so that we can provide the products with a coloured lacquer layer.

Assembly and production capabilities

For assembly, we have had a deployment department from AMFORS since 1983, working in their own department, fully integrated into our operations. There is ample storage capacity with over 4,000 racking spaces to ensure sufficient capacity as a stock-holding producer, even in peak season.
